01546 603060 01546 606921 Dear Sir and Brother,
Fraternal Greetings from RWM, John MacKinnon
At a General Committe Meeting held on Sunday 26 th . of August ‘07, the RWM reported the loss, or imminent loss, of several more members of the Social Club Bar Rota. This means there are not enough stewards to open the Club, on Friday evenings without placing an intolerable burden on those remaining on the rota. It was agreed, the RWM would make yet another appeal to members attending the next meeting and the committee are to look at any ways to attract other members onto the rota. Can you now do your part to ensure the continued opening of the Social Club? Would your personal circumstances allow you to join the rota, even in a limited capacity, e.g. as a stand-by, bi-monthly, winter/summer only, temporary, or any other way possible? In the meantime, the RWM hopes to see you at the next meeting,as usual. Or, if it is a wee while since you’ve been "upstairs," he would like to welcome you back to our next regular meeting, on the first Thursday of October, or perhaps see you in the Social Club, making use of the fine facilities we have to offer. It would be appreciated if you would print off, complete and return the slip below to the Secretary, to indicate your availability to assist with the rota, or contact the RWM, or Secretary by email, or phone to advise accordingly.
Yours fraternally,
Jimmy McCallum PM Sec . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I would like to help the bar rota as follows – Sorry, I am unable to assist for the forseeable future. [ ] TO EMAIL THE SECRETARY CLICK HERE When browsing the internet, and the Grand Lodge of Scotland site in particular, I found this page. It is simply entitled Press Watch but it is heartening to see Grand Lodge reply to those articles in the press which attack Freemasonary with such tact and vigor. |
