A visit to Ardfenaig Older Persons Home, in Oct 2010, to present a cheque from Lodge Loch Fyne, for £363, raised from a sponsored walk on Bute in July.

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

 


Pictured is resident, Archie Wallace who accepted the cheque from the then Maser of the Lodge Bro Lachie Wood accompanied by Bro Sec James McCallum.

The walk also raised a further sum of £362, which was donated to a Multiple Sclerosis charity selected by PGL.

 The trophy was awarded by Lodge Loch Fyne, in memory of the late, Bro. John Reid, a keen sports enthusiast.

MEMBERS of Lodge Lochfyne, no 754, collected £257 to support the work of Erskine homes for ex-servicemen and women. A cheque was presented last month to Lesley Miller from the charity, who said the funds are especially needed now due to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Pictured are Lachlan Wood, Master of Lodge Lochfyne, Jimmy Purdie, Almoner and Jimmy McCallum, Secretary, handing over the donation to Lesley Miller.
